# ChatGPT MCP connection

Connect Videfy to ChatGPT so you can create and update Videfy projects from a ChatGPT conversation.

### Step 1: Open ChatGPT Apps

Open ChatGPT and go to:

**Settings → Apps**

### Step 2: Check if Videfy is available

Search for **Videfy** in Apps.

If **Videfy** is listed, select it and continue to **Step 4**.

If **Videfy** is not listed, your workspace admin may need to enable **Developer Mode** or allow **custom MCP apps**. Then continue to **Step 3** and add Videfy manually.

### Step 3: Add Videfy manually

Add Videfy as a custom MCP app.

**Name:** Videfy

**URL:** [app.videfy.ai/mcp](https://app.videfy.ai/mcp)

### Step 4: Connect

Click **Connect** and approve access.

### Step 5: Test the connection

Open a new ChatGPT chat and ask:

**Who am I on Videfy?**

ChatGPT should confirm your Videfy account and workspace.

### Step 6: Start working in Videfy

You can now ask ChatGPT to create and update work in Videfy.
