# Choose a model

Start with the input you have and the output you want. Use the **Model Picker** to find suitable models, explore examples, and compare capabilities and cost.

## Open the Model Picker

In **Gen AI**, click the **Model** control to browse the available models.

Model search, filters, and plan availability

## Find a suitable model

Search for a model by name, or narrow the list using:

* **Input Type**
* **Task**
* **Resolution**
* **Aspect Ratio**
* **Provider**

Turn on **Available on my plan** to show models included in your plan. Model availability and your credit balance are separate: having credits does not automatically unlock every model.

## Check the model’s capabilities

Open **More details** to review what a model supports. Depending on the task, check:

* Accepted inputs and the number of references.
* Output resolutions and aspect ratios.
* Video duration and audio support.
* Available generation settings.

Before generating, review the credit cost for your selected settings.

## Explore examples

Click a model’s thumbnail to browse available examples. Open an example to inspect the result, its prompt, and any settings shown.

Use examples to judge whether the model suits your visual direction. Your results will depend on your own inputs and settings.

## Find models you’ve liked

Like models you want to return to. Use the **heart filter** to show only your liked models, and turn it off to browse the full list again.

## Compare with a small test

Try the same brief with a few suitable models. Compare what matters for your project: product accuracy, fine detail, character consistency, motion, or editing control.

Start with a small generation that lets you judge the result. Increase the resolution, duration, or number of outputs once you’re happy with the direction.

Model availability and pricing can change. Check the current details in the picker and the cost beside **Generate** before starting.
