# Edit an image

Select an image on the canvas or timeline, then open **Image Editing**.

Use **Basic Editing Tools** for direct adjustments. Open **Magic Tools** for the AI-assisted options available for that image.

## Start with the framing

Decide what the viewer should notice first. Crop or reposition the image so that the subject is clear and important details stay inside the frame.

For position, scale, rotation, opacity, and other layer controls, use **Editing Toolkit → Transform**. Color controls are in the toolkit’s **Color** section.

## Use AI edits with a clear instruction

Select the relevant tool and describe the change you want. Check the selected model, required inputs, and any displayed cost before generating.

Review the result at full size, especially around faces, hands, product edges, text, and any area that was changed.

After returning to the Storyboard or Videfy Studio, confirm that the intended version is assigned to the scene. Play the surrounding section to make sure the edit still fits the video.
