# Edit your video in Videfy Studio

Videfy Studio brings the canvas, timeline, and editing tools together.

The **Canvas** shows the current frame. The **Timeline** controls when items appear and how long they last. Select an item before opening tools that act on it.

Editing tools become useful after an item is selected

## Make one change at a time

1. Select the item on the canvas or timeline.
2. Open the relevant tool.
3. Make the adjustment.
4. Play the surrounding section to check the result.

Use **Undo** if a change does not help. Keep an eye on the cloud-sync indicator before leaving the project.

## Choose the right tool

Available controls depend on the selected item. A text layer and an audio clip will not offer the same settings.

## Check the whole video

After adjusting individual scenes, play the complete sequence. Look for gaps, abrupt cuts, clipped text, and changes in audio level.

Check the final aspect ratio at a small viewing size. Text that looks comfortable on a large monitor can be hard to read on a phone.
