# Galleries

## Use Gallery visuals in your Storyboard

The **Gallery** helps you find and add visuals to Storyboard scenes. You can search for images or videos, browse **My Creations**, explore the **Public Gallery**, and add selected visuals directly to your project.

### **1. Switch to Extended mode**

Before you can access the **Gallery**, you’ll need to make sure you're in **Extended Mode**.

* In the **Storyboard** section, locate the **Compact/Extended** button at the top-right corner of your screen.
* Click **Extended** to switch to the full view, which will enable access to additional features like the **Gallery** tab.

Without switching to **Extended Mode**, the **Gallery** tab won’t be visible, and you won’t be able to browse through images.

### **2. Accessing the Gallery**

Once in **Extended Mode**:

* **Navigate to the Gallery Tab**: At the top of the screen, you’ll see several options such as **Gen AI**, **Gallery**, and **My Items**. Click on the **Gallery** tab to enter the visual library.

### **3. Browsing Through the Gallery**

Once inside the **Gallery**, you can view a variety of images that can be used in your scenes:

* **Categories**: The Gallery is organized to help you find the right visual. You can browse through different categories, including **Image** and **Video**.
* **My Creations**: This section lets you access the visuals you’ve previously generated or uploaded. You can filter by “My Creations” or “Public Gallery” to view your content or content shared by other users.

### **4. Searching for Images**

You can quickly find specific images using the **Search bar** at the top of the Gallery section:

* **Enter Keywords**: Simply type in keywords like “home,” "beautiful sky,” or “castle” to search for relevant images.
* **Refine Results**: Once you search, you’ll see images that match your description. You can further refine the results using filters like style, color, or type of visual content.

### **5. Selecting Images for Your Scene**

After you’ve found an image or video that fits your scene:

1. **Click on the Image**: Once you’ve found an image (or video) you want to use, click on it to view it in full size. This will open a detailed view of the visual, where you can see the associated prompt and other relevant information.
2. **Assigning the Image to the Scene**:
   * **Use the Round Button**: To assign the image or video to the current scene, click the **round button** at the top right corner of the image (this button will apply the visual to the scene you are working on).
   * **Drag and Drop**: Alternatively, you can **drag-and-drop** the image or video directly onto the **scene in the timeline** or **storyboard**. This will automatically assign it to that specific scene.
   * **Drag to Timeline**: If you don't want to assign the visual to a scene immediately, you can simply drag it to the **timeline**. This will place the visual in the timeline without associating it with any particular scene, allowing you to manually adjust it later.
3. **Preview the Image**: Once the image is assigned, it will appear in the scene on your storyboard, and you can preview how it looks in the timeline below.
4. **Adjust the Visual**: You can now adjust the timing and placement of the visual in the timeline to match the flow of your video.

### **6. Gallery View Settings**

To help manage your search and selection process, Videfy provides some useful settings inside the Gallery:

* **Columns per Row**: You can select from **1 to 8 images per row**. This setting determines how many images will be displayed in each row of the Gallery. Choose the number that works best for your preference.
* **Filters**: Filters allow you to narrow down your search. Use these options to find images that meet your specific needs, whether by color, style, or theme.

### **7. Exploring Public Gallery vs. My Creations**

* **My Creations**: This section shows only the images you have created. It’s perfect for reusing visuals you’ve already worked with in past projects.
* **Public Gallery**: In this section, you can view images shared by other users. It’s a great way to get inspiration or find unique visuals you may not have thought of.

### **8. Finalizing Your Scene with Gallery Images**

Once you've selected and added visuals from the **Gallery**, you can return to your **Storyboard** to:

* **Preview the Scene**: Make sure the visuals fit well with your narrative. Adjust the scene length if necessary.
* **Go to Videfy Studio**: Once everything looks good, click **Go to Videfy Studio** to further edit your video, add audio, or make any final adjustments.

### **9. Tips for Efficient Gallery Use**

* **Use the Search Function**: For fast and efficient image selection, use the search bar with specific keywords.
* **Check Consistency**: Ensure that the images you select maintain visual consistency throughout the scenes to create a unified look for your video.
* **Explore Public Content**: Don’t hesitate to check out the public gallery for inspiration and visuals you can adapt to your project.

The Gallery helps you quickly find visuals that fit your project using search, filters, **My Creations**, and the **Public Gallery**. After choosing an image or video, you can add it directly to a scene and continue refining your project in the Storyboard or Videfy Studio.

### **10. Gallery Access via the Left Side Menu**

In addition to accessing the **Gallery** within the **Storyboard**, you can also access it through the **left side menu** in the main interface and **Videfy Studio**:

#### **Videfy Studio**

If you're currently in the **Storyboard**, click **Go to Videfy Studio** to switch to **Videfy Studio** mode.

* **Navigate to the Gallery**: Once you're in **Videfy Studio**, you'll find the **Gallery** tab in the navigation panel at the left side of the screen. Click on the **Gallery** tab to access the visual library, where you can browse, search, and select images, videos, and other visuals for your project. You can assign visuals to scenes from here, just like in the **Storyboard**.

#### **Accessing the Gallery via Menu**

1. **Open the Menu**: From anywhere in the interface, click on the **menu icon** (three horizontal lines) at the top left corner of the screen. This will open the left side menu.
2. **Select Gallery**: In the dropdown menu, click **Gallery** to open the visual library. This section is **purely for browsing and downloading visuals**. You won’t be able to assign images to scenes or work with your project directly from this gallery. Instead, it's a place to:
   * **Download content** to use later.
   * **Get inspiration** by exploring visuals shared by others.
   * **View your creations** or browse the **Public Gallery**.

### **What’s Next**

Now that you know how to use the **Gallery** within the **Storyboard**, you can start integrating visuals into your project. Once you've selected, assigned, and adjusted your visuals, move on to the **Videfy Studio** to fine-tune your video, and make any necessary edits. Explore further features like scene timing adjustments, transitions, and export options to complete your video project.
