This article explains how to open the Model Picker in Videfy and use it to quickly find, sort, and explore AI models.
The Model Picker helps you:
- Choose the right model for your scene
- Sort models based on what you like
- Preview real generation examples
- Filter models by type, style, and provider
Open the Model Picker
- Go to the Storyboard.
- In a scene, locate the Model button in the bottom toolbar.
- Click the Model button.
What happens next:
- The model panel opens on the left.
- The Model button turns yellow, showing it’s active.
Sort Models by Likes
You can prioritize models you like most.
- Open the Model Picker.
- Click the Like (♥) sort icon at the top of the model list.
Result:
- Only models you’ve liked remain visible.
- Models without a heart icon are hidden.
- The icon turns yellow, confirming liked-only view is enabled.
This makes it easy to reuse trusted models without searching.
View Model Generation Examples
Each model includes real examples to help you understand its output style.
- Open the Model Picker.
- Click on the model image (thumbnail).
- Select one of the example images.
You’ll see:
- The generated image
- The exact prompt used
- Additional details like similarity and settings
Use this to evaluate quality and decide if the model fits your scene.
Open and Use Model Filters
Filters help you quickly narrow down models using clear, top-level categories.
- Open the Model Picker.
- At the top of the panel, use the filter tabs:
- Type
- Style
- Provider
- Resolution
- Click any filter tab to expand its options.
- Select one or more options to refine the model list.
What happens:
- The model list updates instantly.
- Only models matching your selected filters remain visible.
Selection rules:
- Type: single selection only
- Style: single selection only
- Provider and Resolution: multiple selections allowed
You can combine multiple filters (for example: Text-to-Image + Leonardo + 16:9) to find the right model faster.
Tips for Faster Model Selection
- Like models you use often to create a focused, liked-only view when needed
- Click the model image to review real examples before generating and reduce trial-and-error
- Use filters first, then switch to liked-only mode to quickly narrow options on large projects
