Using the Gallery in Video Studio

The Video Studio Gallery is a powerful tool to enhance your video creation process. It allows you to access and organize various assets like images, videos, animations, overlays, and audio files. Here’s how to use it effectively for your projects. The Gallery is an essential feature within the Video Studio that provides easy access to your media assets. You can quickly open and close the Gallery panel, allowing you to manage your media without disrupting your workflow. To open the Gallery, click the Gallery button located on the top left of the Video Studio interface. This expands the Gallery panel on the right side of your screen, where you can access different tabs like Images, Videos, Audio, and more. The mini-storyboard will appear on the left side, helping you organize your timeline. To close the Gallery, simply click the close button. If you’re in a specific section, such as Audio or Video, when you reopen the Gallery, that section will be displayed by default on the left. The Gallery contains several tabs to help you filter and find the right media:
  1. Images
This tab allows you to browse through various images, including backgrounds, stock photos, and assets from your personal collection. You can filter by categories or search for specific terms.
  2. Videos
If you’re working with video content, this tab lets you browse through video files available in your library. Videos can be added to your timeline by dragging and dropping them directly from the Gallery.
  3. Animations
This tab is dedicated to animation assets. Whether you’re looking for pre-made animations or custom animations, you can filter and select the ones you need.
  4. Overlays
Overlays, such as visual effects or graphical elements, can be found here. They can be applied to your scenes to enhance your video’s visual appeal.
  5. Audio
The Audio tab contains a collection of soundtracks and effects. You can preview and add audio files to your timeline just like you would with other media.

Drag-and-Drop Functionality

Once you have the Gallery open, you can easily add media to your project. Here’s how:
  • From Gallery to Scene: Drag an asset from the Gallery and drop it onto a specific scene in the mini-storyboard on the left side.
  • From Gallery to Timeline: You can drag items directly from the Gallery and place them on the timeline at the desired spot.
This feature simplifies the editing process, allowing you to build your video efficiently. By following these steps and tips, you’ll be able to navigate and utilize the Gallery effectively to bring your creative vision to life. Whether you’re adding images, video clips, or audio tracks, the Gallery makes it easy to organize and streamline your video editing process.
