AI Generation Credits are used within Videfy to generate images and videos using AI technology. These credits are required for each generation request, and the cost of generating content can vary depending on several factors.

How AI Generation Credits Work

  1. Content Type: AI Generation Credits are used specifically for generating images and videos within Videfy. Different types of content will consume different amounts of credits based on their complexity.
  2. Quantity & duration: Credits scale with what you generate - more images per request or longer videos use more credits.
  3. Models Used: Videfy relies on third-party tools and models for AI content generation. Since these models are provided by external services, the cost of using them may change over time, which can affect the number of credits needed to generate content. Therefore, the price of generation may fluctuate based on these external models.

Factors Affecting Credits Usage

  • Type of Content: Video generation generally consumes more credits than image generation because of its higher complexity and the resources required to generate the content.
  • Generation settings: The credits required can vary depending on the model used and the amount of content generated (e.g., number of images or video length).
  • Third-Party Tools and Models: Since Videfy uses third-party AI models, the cost associated with using these services may change over time. As a result, the number of credits needed to generate content can vary depending on updates or changes from these external models.

Managing Your Credits

  1. Viewing Your Available Credits:
    • You can see your available AI Generation Credits by going to Profile Settings -> Subscription & Billing.
    • Alternatively, your credits balance can also be found at the top right of the screen, just left of your profile picture.
  2. Getting More Credits:
    • Upgrade Your Plan: You can increase your credits by upgrading to a plan that offers more. To upgrade your plan:
      1. Go to Profile Settings.
      2. Select Subscription & Billing.
      3. Click on My Plan to view available plan options and upgrade to one that offers more AI Generation Credits.
    • Add Add-Ons: Additional credits can be purchased by adding add-ons. To do so:
      1. Go to Profile Settings.
      2. Select Subscription & Billing.
      3. Click on Add Ons and then click the + icon to purchase additional credits.
