ChatGPT MCP connection

Connect Videfy to ChatGPT so you can create and update Videfy projects from a ChatGPT conversation.

Step 1: Open ChatGPT Apps

Open ChatGPT and go to: Settings → Apps

Step 2: Check if Videfy is available

Search for Videfy in Apps. If Videfy is listed, select it and continue to Step 4. If Videfy is not listed, your workspace admin may need to enable Developer Mode or allow custom MCP apps. Then continue to Step 3 and add Videfy manually.

Step 3: Add Videfy manually

Add Videfy as a custom MCP app. Name: Videfy URL: app.videfy.ai/mcp

Step 4: Connect

Click Connect and approve access.

Step 5: Test the connection

Open a new ChatGPT chat and ask: Who am I on Videfy? ChatGPT should confirm your Videfy account and workspace.

Step 6: Start working in Videfy

You can now ask ChatGPT to create and update work in Videfy.
