The Storyboard is where you shape your video scene by scene. Review the narration, choose visuals, organize scenes, and preview how everything works together. After story creation, click Let’s Go to open the Storyboard. If you enabled Create Prompts for All Scenes or Create Illustrations for All Scenes, those elements begin generating here.

Choose your view

Use Compact Mode for a quick overview of your scenes and their order. Switch to Extended Mode to work with scene details and access Gen AI, Gallery, and My Items.

Review a scene

Check these three elements:
  • Narration: What the viewer hears.
  • Description: What the scene should show.
  • Assigned visual: The image or video currently used in the scene.
A useful description includes the subject, action, setting, and framing. For example:
Close-up of fresh coffee pouring into a white cup on a wooden counter, soft morning light.
If you change the narration or description, review the visual to make sure it still fits.

Create or replace a visual

Open the scene’s visual editing options and choose where the visual comes from:
  • Gen AI: Generate an image or video for the scene.
  • Gallery: Browse existing visuals.
  • My Items: Use your own saved or uploaded assets.
Scene generation is connected to the scene you’re editing. Use Gen AI Standalone when you want to create visuals independently of a scene. After generating or selecting a visual, check the scene preview to confirm that the intended result is assigned. To animate an image, use Animate where available. Review the selected video model, duration, and credit cost before generating.

Organize your scenes

Use the scene’s drag handle to change its position. Choose Add scene to insert another scene, or open the scene menu for available actions such as duplicating or removing it. After changing the order, preview the sequence to check that the narration and visuals still flow together. Before using Apply to All, check which settings will be applied to the other scenes.

Preview and adjust timing

Use the mini-player to review the sequence without leaving the Storyboard. Check that the visuals match the narration and that each scene has enough time. The Storyboard timeline lets you review clip order, adjust timing, and place assets before continuing with more detailed editing.
